This report highlights the discussions and findings from a breakout session on "Rethinking MDA campaigns: Leveraging integrated health campaigns for improved effectiveness and impact" at the International Conference on NTD Research (InCORNTD) 2025 in Kigali, Rwanda at the Kigali Convention Center. 

This breakout session followed a plenary on "Health systems integration for schistosomiasis and NTDs" which introduced perspectives on integrated health campaigns and health service delivery, and shared two case studies, one in Uganda and one in Rwanda.

In the breakout session participants discussed schistosomiasis and NTD integration with non-NTD health delivery services and campaigns, with a view to shape operational and implementation research priorities and actionable recommendations to o move from siloed, vertical programmes to integrated, evidence-based, sustainable health campaigns.
