The Female Genital Schistosomiasis Society of Nigeria has closed a busy first year. In 2022 they focused on advocay, pertnership building and outreach. For World NTD Day 2023, they celebrated by bringing FGS education, community drama, posters and much more to a number of states in Nigeria. They also set their ambitious goals for 2023 and beyond, working towards a world free of FGS and other NTDs.

People with disabilities make up 15% of the global population. So why is it that MDAs for diseases like schistosomiasis (SCH) and soil transmitted helminths (STH) do not include all children with disabilities? Who gets missed and why?
