Webinar | Removing obstacles to the NTD road map in the post-COVID-19 scenario
The World Health Organization (WHO) has set up over 50 collaborating centres related to neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). These institutions play a key role in developing more advanced technologies and cost–effective strategies, and significantly contribute to boosting control, elimination and eradication of NTDs worldwide.
These WHO collaborating centres will come together on 30 January 2024, on the occasion of World Neglected Tropical Diseases Day, at a virtual workshop to discuss how they can contribute to accelerate progress towards the 2030 targets set in the NTD road map.
The webinar is hosted by the WHO Collaborating Center for Tropical Diseases, National Institute of Parasitic Diseases, China CDC, and will include three keynote presentations and an open discussion session.
