WHO webinar: Optimizing One health and Global Vector Control Response to reach the 2030 NTD Roadmap goals

This webinar aims to advocate for, raise awareness of and engage stakeholders across multipl e sectors to develop and implement One Health and integrated vector control to prevent, contro l and eliminate NTDs. Specifically, the objectives of this webinar are to:

• highlight opportunities for One Health to reach the 2030 NTD road map goals;
• discuss the integration of multiple NTDs (e.g. neglected zoonotic diseases, vector- borne diseases, snakebite envenoming) by addressing common determinants and cross-cutting initiatives;
• review current gaps and challenges in One Health initiatives and ways to optimize cross-sectoral engagement to reach the 2030 NTD road map goals; and
• situate the critical importance of implementing GVCR at country level in the context ofthe growing threat of vector-borne diseases in urban environments and temperate areas.
