Webinar | WHO | Improving access to NTD health products to achieve the 2030 road map targets
The availability, accessibility, acceptability, and affordability of medicines and vaccines of assured quality need to be addressed to achieve the 2030 road map targets and the Sustainable Development Goals. The 2030 NTD roadmap recognizes ‘Access to quality-assured NTD Health Products and efficient Supply Chain Management (SCM)’ as a priority area that requires critical and coordinated action.
This webinar will highlight what is being done to ensure the safe delivery of quality assured NTD medicines and health products to more than a billion people annually. It will bring together experts from various fields to assess gaps, challenges and progress and the areas that require urgent and ongoing attention.
The webinar will also hear from officials from ministries of health of countries endemic for NTDs as well as implementing partners on best practices, challenges and possible solutions.
