2021 LCNTDR Anniversary research symposium

Join the London Centre for NTD Research at 1pm GMT on Friday 29th January 2021 to celebrate the 9th anniversary of the London Declaration on NTDs and the 8th anniversary of the London Centre for Neglected Tropical Disease Research (LCNTDR).

This year they are taking our annual research symposium online and focusing on the launch of the new WHO road map on NTDs.

The event will feature a keynote presentation from Dr Mwele Ntuli Malecela, Director of the Department of Control of Neglected Tropical Diseases of the World Health Organization and closing remarks from Professor Gail Davey, President of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine Hygiene.

The symposium will feature presentations and discussions on the cross-cutting themes, tools and innovations to support the WHO road map, including WASH, disability inclusion & mental health, One Health, NTD modelling, diagnostics, and genomics.
