COR-NTD 2020 Virtual Meeting Integrating for Impact
The annual meeting for the Coalition for Operational Research on Neglected Tropical Diseases (COR-NTD) will take place virtually on November 12-14.
The goal of the COR-NTD meeting is to strengthen the community of researchers, program implementers, and their partners to address knowledge gaps in a coordinated way, thus informing the agenda of future research and facilitating the global efforts of the World Health Organization and endemic countries to overcome NTDs.
The Secretariat of COR-NTD is the Neglected Tropical Diseases Support Center (NTD-SC), a program of the Task Force for Global Health that manages grants from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, UK aid via the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, and the U.S. Agency for International Development.
Ahead of the COR-NTD meeting, individual sessions took place online over September, October and November. These premeeting "workshops" discussed operational research needs around specific challenges to inform synthesized sessions of a broader topic at the COR-NTD in November.
