Martina Laidemitt

Dr. Laidemitt is a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Evolutionary and Theoretical Immunology and Museum of Southwestern Biology at the University of New Mexico. Her research focuses on snail related aspects of human schistosomiasis transmission in a One Health context in Kenya and the Caribbean. From molecules to communities her work is to better understand how people, animals, and their shared environments influence disease transmission.
