Dr Obiageli Nebe

Dr. Obiageli Nebe is a Deputy Director / Programme Manager for the National Schistosomiasis / STH Program with over 26 years of long-standing experience in the public health sector, and expertise in the control and elimination of schistosomiasis and soil-transmitted Helminthiasis. She also serves as the secretary of the WASH sub-committee of the National NTD Steering Committee.

Dr Nebe’s professional motivation is to contribute to a substantial reduction of morbidity due to Schistosomiasis in Nigeria in line with the health sector reforms and new WHO NTD Roadmap thereby contributing to the elimination of Neglected Tropical Diseases.
